So in my free time, I have watched the extended version of each LOTR movie which are soo much better than the theater editions. So why do I like LOTR?

1) The acting is superb. With all of the special effects, most of the actors had to interact with some “fake” monster with the blue screen as the background.

2) The struggle of evil vs. goodness. The white vs. black images whether it’s clothing, horses, birds, etc.

3) Action. And lots of it!

4) Romance between Aragorn and Arwyn.

5) Horror-like elements

6) Gollum’s split personality and obsession over the ring

7) The sexy men (Aragorn and Legolas especially)

Beautiful scenery (Rivendale is so perfect)

9) Hobbit and dwarf humor

10) Amazing special effects
